Bumper pull??? The Tow rating is for a Saab equipped with a proper hitch, bolted to the chassis, not towing via the bumper.

That said, I have "flat towed" other Saabs using the tie-down eyes for short distances, BUT...

The towed car ALWAYS has a safety rider to operate the brakes and steering, and to make sure that the tow line remained taut (very important, lest it get wrapped in the driveshafts).

Also, I should mention that this is most likely illegal in many (most?) places, and should only be used for short distances.
