What have i done now? A mate and i installed a stereo unit the other day and all was hunky dory til the car wouldnt start.
Apparently the infamous brown and white wire(s) was cut. After lots of head scratching tween road service and myself we thought it was the distributor.
Local indie sorted it out pretty fast.
Car was fine. Except as a side issue tho probably unrelated was the ignition binding and starting to chew up keys.
Used heater and air con and all was fine for a few days then fri night i noticed no heat no fan nada...checked fuse - blown. Replaced fuse and blew again straight away.
Then ran out of time for more looking and cursing. Visitors turned up and my sunday all gone...so what thoughts do the diagnosticians have amongst us? Certainly appreciate some input before i pull the lower dash and console out for the 7th time.
TIA
Mark
Did i mention that the best DIY win i had last week was buying 2 front floor mats and fitting them? :-p
