It could also be the actuator has gone bad. That is connected to the underside of the alarm box. The alarm box is under the driver's side of the rear seat. It is under the steel crossmember and can be accessed by removing the rear seat base (just pull up on it), then peeling the carpet back to reveal two torx screws that hold the alarm unit to the underside of the crossmember. You can pull the alarm out through the front once you remove the screws. Leave it plugged in, and try your remotes. If the actuator clicks, your problem is probably elsewhere. Water issues can be tricky to diagnose, You may have to let it dry out a good while to see if the problem persists. I can't recall if there is a separate fuse for the door locks. If so, it likely blew when water caused a short.
On a side note, is your car in the Commemorative Edition Registry?
