I think I have only been visiting this site a year or more, so I may have missed the posting buzz that surely occurred when this movie was viewed by some poster here. Last night went to old movie section (year or two old) and picked out a movie called "Black Cadillac". Right near the start of the movie there was about a 2 second front view of a red saab. Typical reaction . WOW. Figured that was it. The typical cameo shot. NOT SO. about 45 minutes of this sweet sedan being put through some serious driving. On snow , ice, and back woods roads. No question to us that loves em, why they featured a saab for that part. It's one of a few that could act that part. Now I realize this buzz likely has already hit the TSN before I got here. There are a few obvious discrepencies in the movie, like it's a standard, but a floor shot showed a autobox brake pedal, and the temp gage was not one I'd seen on a Saab, and the tail light in several shots were healed as in the movie "Christine". BUT for a movie with Saab excitement I have seen no other like it, (except for the home movies you fanatics are likely hoarding). A good movie for anytime you want to feel the thrill of a Saab ride (say when your Saab is in the shop or down for repairs)regardless of the trite plot, its a Saab lovers hydrated dream.
