window scrapers

Last night I installed the window scrapers that I bought from Scandix. They are quite nice. I would say that if you need some scrapers these are a great buy. My car is an 88 vert and has the little ears on the clips that hold the scrapers in place. These ears often rub through the scrapers and can scratch the window. Saab recommended a in a service bulletin that these ear should be ground off. I didn't grind mine off and with the new scrapers the window is too tight to roll up smoothly. I will go in tonight and grind the ears off and this should give me an 1/8 inch more clearance and free up the window. If you replace your scrapers you will need to grind the ears off.
As a side note: it only took an hour and a half but my horn works again.
