as carl stated, two tires of the same size aren't necessarily the same.
Personally i'd stick with the stock size on a 15", go to 205/50 with a 16" rim.
That said, the higher the speed rating, the stiffer the tire in general, and a sloppy 205 is going to be a worse tire than a good 195, possibly by a long shot. A sloppy sidewall can also cause rubbing because the tire deflects inappropriately. You also want to look at rim width, the further you get into trapezoidal territory, the sloppier the ride is going to be.
