Fist of all, thank you to all the support on this board I have gotten for my 1994 vert, auto to manual conversion. I've now got the car running smoothly and shifting great, I could not have done it without your help.
One thing came up, searching the forum I notice that the spacers on the final drive assembly should be kept with the transmission if changing drivers. Well,, I changed out the driver assembly on one side and might have also changed out the spacers with it. In other words, my manual transmission probably now has the spacers (along with the drive assembly), from my autobox.
Is this really bad? I'm not even sure if I did switch the spacers, but I am second guessing myself. I retrieved the assembly and spacers that I had set aside.
I assume this will pre load the pinion incorrectly, how critical is this>?
