Virtually nothing is impossible under the moon (except world-wide health, peace and happiness). As far as I remember when we went into transmission the last time - if one puts the clutch disk in reverse then it will be VERY hard to put clutch assembly back onto the engine. And even if it's finally done then clutch will not work. But I've got late C900 with 9K clutch, maybe some certain versions have their own peculiarities.
