I've decided to replace the head gasket on my 1987 900T and have ordered a kit from eEuroParts.com which includes the head gasket, intake manifold gasket, exhaust man. gasket, valve cover gasket, 16 valve stem seals, and breather nipple bushing. At the same time I plan on replacing the Oil Pump Seal (Front Crank Seal) and Oil Pump O-Ring to hopefully stop a pretty bad leak from the front of the motor (I just learned that the front of the motor is in the back of the engine compartment :-).

Needless to say, I'm not the most experienced with working on cars but I love to do it. I changed the head on a 1985 900T about 12 years ago but had my Dad helping me. Now I live about 2 hours away and will be doing this on my own.

I have my trusty Bentley as well as the instructions that Townsend Imports has been generous enough to provide.

I will really appreciate any sugguestions that anyone might have as far as other items to check or replace or any hints you may have learned along the way.
