Im about to embark on this myself. Ive read the manual about 10 times, basically just says to remove everything that looks like it needs to be removed.
Most Advise that the hoses should be replaced at the same time.(Advice I plan to heed). Also I'll bet re-installation will become clearer after you have taken it apart.
There was a debate (here) on whether a turkey baister was good idea for draining. Im going to try to place the return hose in a bucket and run the steering.
Not sure about refill.
I plan to rent a puller to remove the pulley (its use is pretty simple). I think you will need a press to install the pulley. I have one, but have heard (again on this site) that for a nomial fee most shops will do it for you in short order.
If you get to this before I do (likely) please post your lessons learned.
Last note of caution: be careful not to spill the fluid on your belts. (Im delaying replacing my belts until after this is done). My car has an awfully long list of projects. Good Luck!
