primary gear questions redo

Last week I posted questions about the real world differences between the #6,7,and 8 primary gear sets . The responses I received were certainly helpful , but I still do not know the answers to the questions I need answered the most . I was given some numbers , but they were not enough to make the comparisons I am looking for . I have an 88 spg with a rebuilt transmission from another car . Its # is GM45610 . I want to know how many more mph I would get out of first gear with the #7 and #8 primaries installed on this transmission at a given rpm that would end a reasonably hard acceleration . Lets say 4500 rpm . I'm assuming I have the #6 primaries right know . This should be the case unless my old mechanic altered part of the gearbox when they did the rebuild on it . My speed in fifth gear at 3000 rpm is about 68 mph . Does this match other people's #'s for this gearbox ? I know the #8's are almost impossible to get , but if I can only get 2 or 3 mph more in first gear by switching to the #7's it does not seem worth the switch for the purpose of making the irritatingly short first gear longer . For me this might necessitate #8's or nothing . Sorry about the long post , but I am trying to avoid misunderstandings about what I am trying to figure out . Hans , thanks for the #'s last week , but I was unsure how to convert them into what I want to know .
