Thanks for the reply Hans. The oil will be changed today .

As for the oil leak, how best to determine where the leak is? What are the possibilities/probabilities given I see oil on the passenger side of the engine block? I find it hard to tell if it is coming from under the plastic covering in front of the engine? ...or from up higher. I imagine up higher would be better eh?

I'm thinking I wipe as much off as I can and take her for a spin to better locate leak?

I have heard here that vacuum leaks can cause emissions failures. My issue two years ago was high NOX readings. Would vacuum leaks cause high NOX? Do you think the new o2 sensor and cat will get me through emissions (Virginia)?

I read the LH fuel injection system overview last night before bed...twice....from the FAQ section. Whoa....I was doing sort of okay at the beginning, but the info snowballed...by the time I got to the error codes, my head was spinning! What happened to the days where you just got a new cat of o2 sensor, and you passed emissions? I am discouraged by the complexities of the beast.
