Nuts are in the inner fenders under the hood, behind the wheels (towards the firewall), pretty much right next to the front of the doors. You'll see them, because when you do you'll realize they look pretty out of place in there. Took me a while to find those myself the first time I had my dash out.
I had a tough leak once, passenger floor kept getting wet. Turned out to be the gap above the heater core/box (the black box by the firewall with the large vaccuum-operated flap). I sealed that up, and no more leak. Good luck with yours!
