1988, 16 valve, non-turbo, 5 spd.
Saabnutt, thanks for responding on this. What does NTC stand for? I replaced the water temperature sensor with the blue terminal connector between #2 and #3 fuel injectors on the head. I pulled the AIC valve back off again, shook it and blew into it with my thumb over the openings. It doesn't leak and the hoses look fine but eEuro is looking into new ones for me. The O2 sensor was reportedly replaced on this in 2008 before I bought it. It looks new.
I keep coming back to the AIC valve thinking that its shot even though I can hear it working.
I've noticed something new, irregardless of the fuel level in the tank. When I make hard turns, like turning into an intersection the engine stumbles every time. At first, I thought it might have some water in the gas but it keeps doing it everytime a make a hard turn, ie, hesitation but runs perfect in a straight line.
Do I qualify for gray hair yet? Thanks for your input and help!!
