I had redline in a car that had a bad second syncro that I was nursing along.
When I finally go to the trans, the gears were completely dry. Redine doesn't stick/coat the gears well.
So I started using a mix of:
1.5 quarts redline
1/5 quart lucas oil treatment
1 quart Mobile 1 (20-50 since that's what I use in the car).
I've been using this in 4 different cars with no problem.
Shifts great all year but I live in Atlanta so you may want to get a lighter weight Mobile 1 if you're in a colder climate.
I mix the lucas with the redline to get it in the trans (lucas is really thick) and then top off w/ the Mobile 1.
