Not a question really, just wanted to share a funny 900 TC story. Los Angeles has been getting pelted with rain lately and my convertible top isn't as waterproof as it once was. Now, there was enough dampness inside to keep my windows fogged on the next day.
As I drove after the rain, I would hear water sloshing around when I accelerated and braked hard. First, I checked under the rear seat. No water. Then behind the rear seatback. Then I checked the trunk and the storage space below the trunk. No water anywhere. So, now I'm confused and worried. The water is definitely there or God has forsaken me to insanity. The sloshing was real.
So I joked with a friend who has a 2000 Jaguar XJ6 (that probably is a thorn in her side too, yet beautiful). I said to her that my car is holding water like a bloated eat-a-holic. She said that maybe it's pregnant and waiting for her water to break, saying that I should name the car Mary for getting herself knocked up immaculately.
Yesterday, as I parked my car after picking up movie rentals for the same friend...I got out of the car and heard steady water spilling onto the street. I looked down near my door outside of the car and there was water draining like someone turned on the faucet. I never noticed the spout before and couldnt begin to tell you if Saab knew water would build up where the rear window stores when its down. Anyhow...I ran in the house and yelled to dial 911...Mary's water broke!!!
No matter how much this car causes me to scratch my head in confusion and disbelief...it's the best damn thing rolling and I'll kill in her defense.
