The best way I have found is to drain the\ type "F" oil, replace the drain plug. Remove the return line and plug to fitting and add the same amount that was drained. Start the engine and run the fresh fluid through until the old fluid comes out of the return line bubbles/foams. Add another quart and do the same and repeat until fluid runs new. Replace the return line and top off to the "cold" fluid mark. The reason I do it this way is to flush the torque converter out. The engine has to be running to work the AT fluid pump. Only an idiot wouldn't change this fluid. I always add one bottle of "Lucas" brand automatic transmission fluid to every flush. Some don't but, I do. With two c900 automatic's, I'm still going strong with over 200k on each car.
