For a 1990 SPG you need..... Posted by vsfoxe [Email] (#1025) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vsfoxe) on Wed, 17 Mar 2010 11:09:55 In Reply to: Another CD Player Question, ragtop, Wed, 17 Mar 2010 09:21:38 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
CD Player 02 47 171, which will plug into rack #95 27 979 with zero modifications. Just remove the equalizer witrh the DIN removal u-shaped tools, and plug the CD player in. You should already have that rack in your car, with the equalizer in it. This is assuming your current radio & EQ are the stock 1990 set up. Some of the earlier 9000's used the same CD player, but I'm not certain what year the changeover occured. The newer (I'll guess 1992) Saab 9000's and the last C900's had units which looked basically the same in the dash, but the plugs and racks were altogether different. They had three color-coded (red, yellow, blue) cables which won't hook up, and the plugs inside the rack are different also. No good for you.
