ABS light- I really need help :(

Hi Everyone,

Please help if you can.... I feel like I'm up the creek on this one.

So the car is a 94 convertible, and the ABS light is on. The problem is that despite living in a city of over 1million people, no one (or shop) has the necessary 4-prong plug to connect to the ABS system and find out what is going on. The bigger problem is that by law in Alberta, the car cannot pass a safety with the ABS light on, and I can't afford to play guessing games and start replacing expensive ABS pieces.

The brakes function fine, but the ABS does not go off if you slam on the pedal. There is voltage in all the wheel speed sensors but without the computer to get the live feed, it is hard to tell if one is acting up. The accumulator appears to be fine.

Any insight?

It would be a bad way for the car to be taken off the road.... please help.
