Clutch hydraulic woes (AGAIN). Posted by Devin [Email] (#2469) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Devin) on Tue, 13 Apr 2010 08:56:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Dear All,
I've been having ongoing problems repairing the clutch on my 92' 900 Turbo. I've been working on the car on and off for a year now when I go to see my dad in Pennsylvania (where it's parked).
I replaced the hydraulic line to the slave and bled it with a pressure bleeder. There are no external leaks. Now with the nipple at the slave open there is no pressure and fluid squirts freely when I depress the pedal. But with the nipple closed, the pedal is stuck up and won't budge.
The car is in neutral and not stuck in gear. Also, I replaced the slave about three years ago, but the car's been sitting pretty much since.
Should I try to reverse bleed it with a syringe at the slave?
Should I tear into the master?
Or should I pull the clutch and check the slave?
I'm at a loss.
Thanks, Devin
