All "1994" Classic 900 Convertibles were built in calendar year 1993, and all were built before August of that year. To my knowledge, other than the VIN code for "1994", they are built the same as all 1993 900 Convertibles were.
The reason for the early cutoff was a regulation in the US requiring dual airbags in all cars produced after a certain date. Since the C900 was out of production, it wasn't going to be getting a second airbag.
The only difference you should see between a Convertible and hatch or sedan may be in the details of the mountings of the components under the rear seat. The locations are all the same (LH ECU: right front kick panel, APC (turbos) or EZK (non-turbos): left fender forward of the wheel, SRS: behind the instrument cluster, ABS: under right rear seat, alarm: under rear seat, left of center, Central Locking: on floor heater duct under dash, Cruise: behind knee panel, left side, left knee.)
