Any car that goes down the road with current tags (registration) is worth about 1000.00 in my opinion. The days when you could get a car for a few hundred and keep it going for several years is gone.
The junkers I have had in the last 5 or so years have ranged from 250 to 500 but it took another 500 to 800 to get them in a relible running condition.
The last car I bought for my son was a 98 buick century with 225000 miles for 1600.00 ran great until one day he called and said it died in flight. Turned out the motor broke inside and locked up. Dumped another 1100 in it to get a junk yard motor dropped in and now it runs better than my wifes car. What I'm getting at is you never know what your going to get when you buy used.
You should sell it to who ever comes up with the cash first and sleep well. You can't let it get to you unless you provide a warranty which you are not.
The scrap yards around here will give 250 for any car with a title. so 450 is nothing!
Let it go. Sorry about the rambling on.
