Hi all,

I'd been having what I understand to be a classic idle problem on my 16V 900T cvt. Idle would climb to 1500 at start, then rev from 1300 to 1900 for the rest of the day in neutral. Cleaned the AIC to no result, and was about to purchase a replacement AMM when I had some battery trouble (this was after the successful though grueling exhaust system replacement through which you all so kindly guided me!).

Long story short, hooked the battery up to a trickle charger overnight and all was well the next day... and my idle has, for over a week now, stayed at a rock-steady 900 RPM! What on earth could be the cause of this? I literally did nothing else to it but charge the battery! I'm certainly not complaining, but I am desperately curious.
