Just to let you know I got this to work on my 1994 classic 900 convertible. So far so good no more locked ignitions.
What you get from http://www.keylessride.com is a remote and also a replacement chip for the Alarm Module These two are married together. The instruction are not accurate since they are written for an older BMW model which uses the "Alpine" Alarm Module.
The Saab alarm is under the back seat directly behind the driver and it accessed throught the front of the medal Seat support. I removed the rear seat and pulled down the carpet to expose the two screws holding the alarm in place. After removing two screws you can pull it out and turn it upside down and remove the metal shield to get to the bottom of the Alarm module. Next, open the bottom of the Saab alarm through a small door. You will find the Saab chip and also two dip switch set to ON. Turn them to Off, and replace the Saab chip with the KeylessRide chip, and throw the dip switchs back to ON. Turn on the ignition and try it. If the remote does not work, remove the ground on the battery and then re-attach and try it again. It been working every since then.
