and the body crease still looks great (i've only seen these 2 pics, mind you!), so it can be fixed without too much drama. I honestly would be surprised if paintless place could get that out 100%, just based on the sharp bend around the vertical door jam-that metal is streched.
What i expect i will end up doing is, like you suggest, get a cash settlement, do an 'ok' fix for now (just something i won't feel too embarressed about being seen in!), and a full respray in the winter. I really did everything i could to that car to make sure i didn't have to have it back in the shop for the summer.... So the prospect of working on it again so soon ( i posted the 'finished' pics 4 days ago!) is not one i savour. And i hate insurance companies, with a passion.
