If both rust free, I would go for the 86 SPG or restore what you have. I've got plans for a 88-93 900 Turbo which I have not found yet. Its kind of funny how the spgs seem to be for sale more than just a "normal" turbo.
Oh, one more thought: ask yourself first what you plan on doing with the car. Some will argue against heavily modding a rare CE or SPG, others with encourage it. This may dictate which way you go.
Either way... you can't lose.
