Door hinges: any good going with used ones?

Guys,
I did know that my doors were not perfect and I thought it was all those shafts in the hinges that were worn out. Yesterday I had a closer look and found that PO worked on the drivers door and didn't put its shaft all the way down as it should be, pls refer to the shot below. This killed the hinge, the shaft having that freeplay significantly increased the whole in the hinge.
Checked both eeuro and thesaabsite and found that I'm going in a deep-deep trouble. The bay has some offers on used ones so please advise whether it's worth trying to use used hinges? EPC says that they're the same for all bodies (hatch, notch, sedan, cabrio) - are they?
Please advise.
