Alternator Ground

OK, I'm back.
Can someone hopefully post or link to a picture of where the alternator ground is supposed to be?
Is it possible I don't have one at all? I know a loose ground can cause weird problems, but can it be missing altogether and still run pretty well? I've got intermittent electrical issues, but the battery light comes on at startup and goes off immediately as it should. I have occasional charging/stalling issues.
Also, unrelated to above, I think I have oil coming out of the filler tube, so yippee.
