84 8v 900S,

We've been having temps in the 90's this week, and as I was driving with the needle a bit above half and cooling down to its usual half, I hit a rather large bump and watched the needle jump down to a bit above 1/3. I later checked that all sensors were still hooked up, but my coolant level is now lower than before. It still drives the same, but the fans come at or slightly above 1/2 on the gague now and it barely moves above half where before it would rise to 2/3 in traffic and cool back to 1/2 with fans.

I replaced the entire cooling system and head gasket a couple years ago, running cooler thermo stwich and thermostat and removed A/C. Is this new needle setting an issue? Cause for alarm? Or did it just flush out an air bubble that bleeding and 2 summers of driving didn't catch?
