Take it somewhere else - whatever resource they're using to guide them on their visual inspection is wrong or they're reading it wrong. The only mark that Saab left behind post-EGR-removal is a code on the fender, which would be meaningless to anyone but a Saab dealer. I've had this happen more than once on various 900s - techs insisting I've removed the EGR, when no California 900 was ever required to have it save a brief few months back in 1990 (and even it was removed). Often times they'll confuse 9000s with 900s or 2.3l cars with 2.0l cars or just be ignorant. :)
