I have ended up using a lot of two-part epoxy on the top flat aluminum hinges...then trimming it off after it dries (easy with a sharp razor blade on the glass (be careful not to get it on the rubber.
I used a crayon to stencil the correct location after I got the fitment right, then removed the hinge from the louver, and epoxied it to the glass.
As for the bottom ones, I found that they do not need epoxy, but I did have an issue with water leakage into the trunk area, so I have started using clear silicone bathroom caulk around the exposed to top and side.
I have had to re-do the epoxy once, but perform a stress test every spring before I put it back on (take it off for the winter for ease of snow removal). It would suck to see it flying off in the rearview.
