the fuel ECU on the passenger side where you take the carpet off to check the two relays for the fuel pump.... the 87 and 88 both are LH2.2 and use part number (or could use, there are always new PNs for NLS stuff) 75 36 683. around the top or forward edge of the bracked there are two sets of wires that are brown/white. and a male and a female keyed connector from the box and similar keyed that run up and over to the pressure sensor. you can disconnect the pair and leave the ones from the drivers side disconnected and plug the ones from the ECU back to themselves. basically the signal will always be true that the boost is not too high and the fuel pump will never cut off. you should of course be very careful with your boost setup, easy to hurt stuff, but I know you know that. the nice thing about this is that you can put it back in about 10 minutes, getting the carpet out of the way is the time. we do it on the 1987 race cars for the Lemons races... it is downright scary. We run a TE05-12B (from the later years) and added the water plumbing to the engine (very easy actually) and use a Forge Wastegate actuator and recirculating blow off valve. it is very strong! if you want pictures send me an email.
