door electric harness disconnect; please advise

I need to remove the driver's side door to replace a broken hinge. Obviously I need to disconnect the harness which powers the windows and locks. The Bentley manual is not much help, it just says disconnect and pull harness out of door. Where is the connector? This is on an 85 sedan. Thanks!
