Here's how it works... (kinda weird)... Posted by BAAB [Email] (#1214) [Profile/Gallery] (more from BAAB) on Thu, 11 Nov 2010 20:41:05 In Reply to: Re: Power Locks/Trunk out of sync, LIFETIMEOFSAABS [Profile/Gallery] , Thu, 11 Nov 2010 17:46:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
...on my 94 c900 convert, if the key slot in the trunk is left in the horizontal position, then the electrical lock will act on the trunk just like it does on the passenger door. But the switch does not act on the drivers door, unless it happens to be shut (i think). Otherwise you have to lock the drivers door with the key, which does not electrically lock the passenger door or the trunk.
Another thing... the electric door lock switch will lock the door and trunk ONLY if the last electrical action on that switch was an unlock, but if not, then you have to switch it to unlock first, then back to lock. Same is true in the reverse to UNLOCK the door and trunk. Again, this only works on the trunk if it's key slot is left in the horizontal position.
Clear as mud?? :-)
