My shifter (gear lever) is fine, the problem is where the shifter ball (companion flange in Bentley's) on the bottom fits into the round ring on the end of the gear rod. The gear rod is slightly rotated and moved forward so the shifter was not vertical and was stuck. I can not move the gear rod at all and don't know what caused it to move out of position like this. I am trying to link a image but I am having problems, hopfully you can see what I mean soon.
I like to do the repairs on my Saab that I can but this one seems to be beyond my abilities :(
Thanks
