I view brake pads as consumables. Given the mileage the C900s can attain, any given car will likely go through several or perhaps even many replacements, so I don't get hung-up on the details of manufacture, composition, or even warranty. The latter has always seemed a bit absurd to me: first, I don't expect a part that is specifically designed to wear to outlast the lifetime of the car; second, and related, I can't imagine how you walk back into the store and say "my pads are shot, gimme new ones". Any savvy clerk will either refer you to the manufacturers warranty for remedy or challenge that the wear is due to factors other than manufacturers defect-- warped rotors, faulty calipers, etc.
At $25-$50 cost per set, I say go with the mid-range asbestos pads they will have on hand, screw the ceramics, install and drive on.
