I think by 1991, the rads should all be aluminum & plastic, but if you have a brass radiator in it, I'd just replace it with the new style aluminum & plastic, and save almost 10 lbs of sprung weight in the process. Every time I've done that, the cars run cooler. I'm also not sure you can have an aluminum radiator "boiled" out by a radiator shop.
Flushing the block is a good idea.
And if you're not using the Mercedes coolant (AKA Zerex G-05), now would be a good time to change to it.
