With my insurance money from my crushed 90 900 TC I was able to buy 2 C900's TC's, one for my mom as a christmas gift and one for me. My mothers was driving fine until christmas morning when I drove it to her house. When it is put in gear is stalls. ( automatic) I was able to drive it about 20 miles but when I would stop and then accelerate I needed to floor it to make it move. and it took forever to get up to speed, once I was cruising above 50 it was fine. It was sputtering and struggling to stay running. The fuel pump is whining pretty loudly. A little history, the car has been sitting for a year, the gas was bad in it ( only about 3 gallons) so we put a cocktail of additives in and filled the tank. Its an automatic, 90k on the motor. I just don't know where to start looking. I think it may be the fuel pump failing as it is so loud. I researched on here but wasn't finding any answer. I have until spring to fix it as mom wont be driving it in the winter. thanks for the help!!
