I put this carpet set into my 1985 SPG when I did a mild refresh about a year ago. The original carpeting is molded from one piece while this aftermarket one is sewn from many pieces. The material is a close match to the original in terms of color but is much thinner and the nap is shorter. I found it difficult to install without getting ripples and folds. With a new set of matching Saab floor mats, it did look very good after installation. After 6 months however, parts of the carpeting started to tear at the seams around the driver's foot well and center hump. So the quality is not so good. Since then I have seen some 900s in the local pull a part with very decent carpeting that could be renewed with a steam cleaner. That is probably the route I would recommend.
