Sulls, the photo below shows the rear seat back removed. Note the two round holes top center, the two openings out board of them are the location of the screws that you need to remove. They are designed so you can loosen them and then lift the seat back without removing the screws completely. However,
I have found you need to remove at least one of the plastic seat belt top covers in order to do this.
I find it easiest to do this with the top half way up (or down, depending how you look at it) You need to stick you head behind the rear seat to locate the 2 vertical slits in the vinyl fabric to find the screw heads.
This photo is of a 93 convertible. I know they are the same for 91s and 89s.
