For the crank bolt socket, a 1 3/16" is identical to a 30 mm and is available at a Sears store in 1/2" drive, good quality and cheap. (Sears doesn't stock large size metric sockets but trust me this is the same size.) (1 1/16" is same size as the later 27mm crank bolt; not your year.)
Take a file and score the socket about 1/2 way down, then cut it in two with a sawzall, then it will fit in. You need to take off the AC pulley before it will let the socket in; I did that not with a ratchet but with a box end 10mm wrench. Once the bolts were cracked free they spun out easily.
I used the trick of using a breaker bar on the crank pulley bolt, and letting the starter crack it free. Don't crank the starter too long or it will unscrew the bolt several turns and jam the socket and breaker into the firewall. Just a short hit of key, then check to see if it's free. Mine spun out with just fingers once cracked loose. I put a block of wood between the breaker and the firewall to hold the socket firmly on the bolt while I was up above hitting the key. Pull coil wire first so car doesn't actually start.
To hold things on retightening, I clamped some needle nose vise grips onto the flywheel, unbolting and prying the black plastic cover up at the right front corner, and then the vise grips jamming against the bell housing held things fine.
Oh, and don't overtighten the oil pump bolts on reassembly, they're just M6 and you don't want to break one.
