'85 16vT Wiring Info Posted by Justin Vanabrahams [Email] (#32) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Justin Vanabrahams) on Tue, 29 Mar 2011 22:29:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Does anyone happen to know what the two 6-pin connectors near the fusebox on an '85 turbo connect to? The '85 is unique, and tracking it across a million pages of slightly inaccurate Bentley is wearing thin.
Connector 1 has: yellow (starter solenoid), grey/red (fuel pump), green/white ("15" circuit), and yellow/white (???)
Connector 2 has three pins on the chassis side, but all six on the engine harness side. On the chassis side is red, blue, and blue/white. I don't recall offhand what the engine side is. I think this whole harness is for various AC functionality - the cutout switch on the throttle body, the over-temp switch in the upper radiator hose, the compressor, the signal to the FI ECU.
Does anyone know anything about these wires?
Primarily, I'd *really* like to know what that yellow/white wire on Connector 1 does. If Connector 2 really is all about AC stuff, then I don't care about it.
Thanks!
