hi mitch you have a crankshaft seal leak. this is a tough situation. the engine would have to be pulled to replace it. orif you are highly mechanically able. you can try doing this.remove th floor mat,diconnect the brake pedal mechanism and expose the firewall area in the vicinity where the harmonic balancer lines up with the firewall. using the proper tools, you would need to cut a circular opening a little larger than the the diameter of the balancer keep the cut out section of sheet metal because you woul need to attach it back in this location. you can now perform the entire seal replacement without having to pull the motor ever again.
I can change the seal in my car in less than an hour by the fact that I created this ACCESS PANEL
