Well it's been a while, but what of the fuel check valve at external top of tank at fuel pump access panel. Maybee you are cranking too long as fuel not up to fuel rail. OR if plugs are wet maybe its flooded. Have had different saabs with simular issues; the latest being a 88 SPG that on manny occasions starts, but occasionally if it fires and I fail to give it a little fuel to keep it going it seems to not start again though I crank and crank. I let it sit a day and it starts first thing. I purchased a fuel gage and banjo fitting quick disconnect which I left on the fuel rail when I was having start issues on a 90 sedan non turbo. The long crank issue on that was the fuel check valve. Since you have spark I won't suggest the spark magnifier unless it starts and then after getting run and warm won't start again till cool. I have had spark magnifier and hall sensor at the crank shaft pulley cause that non start issue. Then...six years ( how fresh is the fuel. I'd try a little starting spray in th inlet, by removing a vac line the replacing and see if it fires up. If it does it could be bad fuel not vaporizing well enough and flooding the good plugs. Just some idea. Let us know.Best regards
