of PS fluid on my '90 SPG this past weekend. Used Valvoline PS fluid, and 1/2 bottle (6oz.) of Lucas leak stopper. Power Steering fluid must meet GM 9985010 specification. First, I used the turkey baster to remove contents of the reservoir. Then I removed the return line (small hose) from the back of the reservoir. I used a metal tube and a couple radiator clamps to extend the return line out over the fender to drain into a suitable container. I filled the reservoir almost to the return nipple, and started the car and turned the wheel lock-to-lock a couple times to flush the fluid out. I repeated that a few times till fluid coming out was nice and clear (has air bubbles in it). Reattached the return hose, put in 6 oz. or so of Lucas, topped off with Valvoline, started car and turned a few times lock-to-lock to expel air. Topped off with fluid and repeated as necessary. I found it necessary to disconnect the battery and unscrew the 2 10mm bolts in that electrical junction block in order to gain reasonable access for return line removal & reinstallation. Different years may be different for access. Used over 1/2 gallon of Valvoline. My power steering is now improved but not perfect. Well worth the effort! Vern
