I didn't do anything special or dyi, I just installed those widely available leds in W2x4.6d body. Essentially, I picked up the green color. Note that LEDs are sensitive to polarity (some say that reverse voltage above 5V threshold will kill a led, but I haven't killed a single one this way - probably those two seconds a led was reverse-driven are not enough to give it kaput).
CBS,
it's a pretty straight forward procedure: undo the ashtray (4 screws and 10mm bolt), unplug the connector, replace the bulb. Installation is the reverse of removal. See above (or refer to owner's manual) re appropriate bulbs.
