The C900 (especially the 5speed SPG with a tuned APC) is fun wheels. That said, I really do prefer my 1998 9000 CSE (with a tune ECU), especially for the long road trip. It can hold my family of four, and two large german shepard dogs in the hatch, with roof top carrier full of stuff. The duel air bags and ABS are nice.

I test drove a 2006 9-3 260 hp 6-speed awhile ago. Very fast, great handling, but somehow it didn't appeal. My kids loved it, but I couldn't see how we'd all fit in it (tiny back seat leg room), no hatch (= dogs go to kennel = extra cost for long trips).

haven't been in the NG900 or the 9-5s. Friends tell me the 9-5 ain't the 9000....
