I recently got mine balanced at Walmart (I know, I try to avoid them, but the price was half that of other places in the area - good reason, I guess - read on). I had to bring it back three times. After the first try, it was great for about two days before throwing a weight from one wheel. It would shake on accelleration and around 50mph, especially in certain gears. Took it back and got it rebalanced. This time it lasted one day. Didn't throw a weight this time, but it was definitely a little out of balance still. So I took it to a different Walmart and had them try. They said that each wheel was exactly 0.25 off. So the first place had their machine out of calibration. THis time they got it right. Persistance paid off. So moral of the story - balancing machines need to be calibrated, and choose the right Walmart.
