Aero Wheel Questions

So, after two hours of searching, reading, searching some more, I'm possibly more confused.
Seems that anyone who has 16" 9000 Aero wheels, has modified suspensions and runs 205-50-16 or 205-45-16. I've got a 900s, with rear overload springs, front SPG springs and currently 185-65-15 (stock) tires. I also have recent bushings, ball joints, and shocks. I did an online tire calculator and find that the closest fit is a 205-55-16. It's 20mm wider, 10 mm taller than what I'm running now. I currently have a huge gap around each tire. The 205-50-16 is smaller than the current tire I have. Is there anything I'm missing in this equation? I'm leaning towards the 55 series since it's going to fill the gap and give me a little more pothole protection. For all out performance, I use the Viggen, so getting these tires on the track isn't an issue.
Thanks,
Kevin A
