Yep. Saab calls it the "companion flange" but in the USA they are known as "inner drivers" and it's the part that actually enters the main case and splines into the differential bevel gears. The inner driver is mounted in a round aluminum housing which is held to the main case by six bolts. To replace the inner driver you remove it from the round housing and install the new one then bolt the assembly to the main case. The photo shows two inner drivers and one still mounted in it's housing. Eriksson Industries rebuilds inner drivers for much less than the cost of a new one.
